Solo: A Star Wars Story, Ant-Man 2, Watchmen, and Others Arrive In Netflix In January 2019

It looks like Netflix is going to start the New Year with a bang next month.

Taking to Twitter, the streaming service just posted a list of action-packed movies and television series that it's going to add to its offerings next month. Not only are we going to have the second season of Marvel's The Punisher, but it looks like we're going to get a slew of action adventure movies. On New Year's day itself, Netflix is planning to give fans a whole lot of Harrison Ford by dropping the entire Indian Jones franchise, listing down films like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jonesand the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

If what you're into is a darker adventure, then Netflix is also planning to release Brendan Frasier's The Mummy from 1999 and its sequel, The Mummy Returns. It also offers other horror films like I Know What You Did Last Summer, Pan's Labyrinth, and The Adams Family.

Of course, Netflix wouldn't have a complete New Year if it didn't have its own set of comic book movies for superhero fans. The Dark Knight, Watchmen, and Ant-Man and the Wasp are all set for release next month.

Even Disney Pixar's critically-acclaimed The Incredibles 2 is listed for release in January next year. Star Wars fans also have something to look forward to – Solo: A Star Wars Story is coming out on Netflix on January 9.

It's going to be a great year next year, and Netflix plans to start 2019 right.
