Shazam Director Reveals Who Voiced Mr. Mind in the Post-Credits Sequence

Shazam was a winner for the DCEU, proving that DC and Warner Bros can make their own lighthearted superhero movies without feeling too much like a Marvel film. There was a lot to enjoy about the movie, from its lighthearted tone and some really funny jokes, easily making it one of the most comedic films DC has ever produced. The film also paid tribute to some of the Shazam comics of the past, including adding a villain in this movie's post-credits sequence.

For those that don't remember, the ending had Doctor Savannah having a conversation with a talking caterpillar that comic book fans will recognize as Mr. Mind. However, since the character appeared in a post-credits scene, we never knew the man who voiced the character. Director David F. Sandberg finally revealed who it was and, to the surprise of many, it was Sandberg himself.

Due to that tease, it's clear that we're going to see Mr. Mind in Shazam 2, with many of us also hoping to see Black Adam after his movie comes out. That would be one hell of a showdown and we can't wait to see what brings all of these forces together.

Shazam is now available on digital services and Blu-Ray, though fans shouldn't get out of their houses and get it right now. No release date for the sequel was announced, though there's a good chance that it will get delayed.
