Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings actor Simu Liu has truly come a long way in terms of his career and now that he's currently on top of the Marvel Cinematic Universe pedestal, it's fun to look back on everything he's done prior to his breakout moment in Hollywood. Most of you are probably not aware of this but the Canadian actor used to be a model for stock images and in a hilarious turn of events, the said photos have been surfacing online as Liu was gearing up for his MCU moment.
The said images depict the actor in various day-to-day scenarios and chances are, you've already come across them on several occasions and failed to recognize Simu the first time. While the said images aren't exactly all that hilarious, social media still found a way to poke fun at the actor and his pre-Marvel gig.
After the images resurfaced and went viral all over social media, Simu used the opportunity to take a few jabs at his critics who previously claimed that Shang-Chi would be a colossal failure. However, as more people discover Liu's past as a stock image model, it looks like the actor is starting to get tired of his seeing his old photos and being reminded of his stock image modeling days.
A fan even went as far as compiling all the stock images where Simu appears on Twitter. Retweeting the thread, the actor hilariously said: "Thanks I hate this". Check out his priceless reaction here.

The film's box office performance has been nothing short of stellar and I gotta say, despite the current COVID-19 scare in the US, Disney made the right call by making the film exclusive to theaters.
