According to the show's entry on the popular anime database, MyAnimeList, Shadows House Season 2 will have a total of 12 episodes.

At the time of writing, no additional Shadows House content has been announced beyond Season 2, but don't despair.

The ongoing Shadows House manga counts 140 chapters as of August 2022, while the second season of the anime is expected to cover until about chapter 70, or close enough, depending on what will be cut and how the adaptation will handle the big revelation about Master Robe.

Season 2 goes deeper into the mysteries of the sinister house, explaining the entirety of its horrors.

At the same time, we're introduced to a new mysterious figure whose identity is a mystery, as are his intentions.

Kate and her fellow recent debutants have to work together with limited time to figure out who Master Robe is.

But the manga doesn't end with this revelation. On the contrary, it only becomes better, as Kate's resolution to free herself, Emilico, and all the other children becomes stronger.

In subsequent chapters, we also find out about everyone's backstory - the missing piece that explains many of the story's gaps so far.

The characters' backstories would present excellent content that we'd love to see on screen, so we can only hope that the anime will be renewed and that we can have more episodes in the future.
