Servant Season 4 returns to AppleTV+ today, and already, fans are anticipating the reveal of Leanne Grayson's (Nell Tiger Free) true form, given the show is in its final season.

Leanne's true form is the subject of one of the most well-liked theories that have repeatedly been spotted on Reddit. Many followers think Leanne is an angel who has quietly turned rogue while hiding out in a human form. Here are some explanations that suggest Leanne is an angel.

Leanne's Power of Reanimation

The showrunners made hints about Leanne's ability to raise the dead from the very first episode. Leanne has done this a few times throughout the course of the three seasons. Leanne served as the series' impetus, ostensibly reviving Jericho.

Of course, producer M. Night Shymalan created enough uncertainty in the audience's minds that this information was never established, but the story extensively hinted at it.

Leanne also helped Julian (Rupert Grint) recover from an overdose. In Season 2, Julian succumbs to stress and overdoses on cocaine at Dorothy and Sean's dinner party.

Sean tries CPR unsuccessfully but gives up after a few minutes. Leanne, on the other hand, detects something as she checks on Jericho and walks downstairs to discover Julian lying on the floor. She kisses him before he sits up abruptly, panting for air.

"You were dead," Leanne says as he looks at her in terror. "You weren't breathing."

This form of extraordinary ability is consistent with what angels do in other accounts. So it stands to reason that Leanne's position as God's servant involves reanimation abilities.

Servant Season 4 Will See Leanne Completely Shun God

Leanne appears to be totally a free agent by Servant Season 4. This implies that she appears to base her decisions on her own needs and desires, which isn't always a good idea in the long term.

Leanne claims that being raised in a cult scarred her. Leanne was certain that she wanted to stay with the Turners even after her Uncle George and Aunt May came to pick her up. George and May did allude to potential issues, though.

According to one Redditor, the organization may not even be a cult at all. Instead, they believe that all members of the Church of the Lesser Saints are angels.

"They are a group of Heavenly beings that put on human bodies and do God's bidding on earth by helping people. But they can only help those whom God tells them to help. These are beings that have stood in the presence of God the Father," the Redditor wrote.

"To them concepts like, Heaven and Hell, God and Satan, Angels and Demons, and righteousness and sin are not theoretical ideas or concepts of faith. They are everyday realities. There is no room for individuality—they are servants of God Himself,"

Fallen Angel

By the end of Servant Season 3, Leanne had gained her own following. This also serves as a link in the chain of Leanne's true identity as a now-fallen angel. Some viewers believe that once George and May failed, God dispatched Aunt Josephine - the Angel of the Lord. Leanne, however, murdered her, implying that Leanne's power might surpass that of the other angels.

When word spreads, it's likely that other Lesser Saints left the cult to worship Leanne instead.
