Avengers: Endgame might be more or less ten days away from its release date but it looks like some footage has managed to make its way online, leaking on social media sites like Twitter and on Reddit.
According to a report by CNBC, footage from the second entry in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie has managed to make its way online, and those who've viewed the clip have described it as a "spoiler heavy" video. Now, gifs, screenshots, clips, and detailed posts describing the footage have begun circulating on Twitter and on Reddit, making the Netscape unsafe for those who want to watch Endgame without any biases.
This is especially terrible news for Marvel fans who've been desperately trying to avoid major spoilers so they can enjoy the film to the fullest when it premieres later this month. Sure, there might be fans who enjoy the occasional fan theory, but we're pretty sure that many others would want to go into a film relatively blind and unbiased so they can enjoy all the twists and surprises in the film.
While it's likely that the person behind the leak had some sort of clearance to view the footage, we're very certain that Marvel had no idea that this individual would upload the footage online. It's certainly deflating knowing that Marvel worked especially hard to keep Endgame spoiler free. Not only have the Russo Brothers been playing coy with fans, but they've also been keeping scripts from the film's cast so nobody really knows how the film ends.
Such a shame to see one person ruining it all. Let's all just keep an eye out for spoilers.
