Who is Seán Óg Cairns? Where Have You Seen Him Before?
Seán Óg Cairns is a 27-year-old Irish actor who grew up in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
He first burst into the scene as a dancer under the Dundalk Musical Society in January 2013, where he went on stage for Pantomime, Snow White, and the Seven Dwarves, in An Táin Theatre, Dundalk.
Seán Óg's first leading role came when he was cast as Ronnie Winslow in Dundalk Theatre Workshop's The Winslow Boy.
After the 2013-2014 runs of the An Táin Theatre, Seán Óg managed to earn his first two awards: Best Young Actor and Most Dramatic Scene / Best Moment of Theatre.
Being an extra in Pierce Brosnan's 2015 I.T. was his first on-screen credit name as one of the extras, and later on, he became a featured extra actor in BBC's Ripper Street.
Seán Óg's big break happened when he was cast as Young Ed in Disney Channel's The Lodge he filmed in 2016.
While he was initially cast to play the leading role of a pilot in Castleknock, Co. Dublin, the show unfortunately never got the green light.
He is best known for smaller roles such as being Austin in 2018's Can't Cope Won't Cope, Frank in 2018's Find Me in Paris, and Eoin Aherne in the 2021 show Frank of Ireland.

Seán Óg Cairns is Garda Eoin in Netflix's Bodkin Series: Role Explained
While we didn't get to see Seán Óg Cairns make his on-screen debut on the Netflix series yet, we do know that his character, Garda Eoin, will appear across the seven episodes of Bodkin.
Bodkin follows a crew of podcasters who set out to a coastal Irish town to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers.
Show creator Jez Scharf explained that Bodkin is a show "where you come in thinking it's going to be about a murder, but then the story just spins out in ways that you don't expect."
