Sebastian Stan Reveals New Info on 'Falcon and Winter Soldier'

The ending of Avengers: Endgame was a monumental one that, whether you like it or not, really changed Marvel's cinematic universe forever. Iron Man is dead, Thor joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Sam Wilson is now Captain America after Steve Rogers decided to stay in the ‘40s and marry Peggy Carter.

Sam accepting the Captain America alias will likely be a big part of the upcoming Falcon and Winter Soldier series for Disney+ but it looks like Bucky won't just be a supporting character in it.

During an interview with ComicBook.com, MCU star Sebastian Stan revealed some intriguing new details about the show. Aside from confirming the fact that it would focus on Sam Wilson's acceptance of Cap's Shield, it will also give Bucky some focus as the Winter Soldier tries to live a "normal" life.

"I think it's time for Bucky to go out there and have an identity outside of the circumstances that we've met him through. So, I don't know, he might do all kinds of things. He might even go on a date. I don't know. Scary world out there, you know? Apps, things like that. I don't know what he's gonna do. I can't see him on an iPhone...I think it's gonna be a lot of dealing with Anthony's character and Anthony himself which is always another character."

Bucky's future is going to be an interesting one, especially since he doesn't have young Steve with him. The lack of Black Widow is also disappointing since the two were an item in the comics and were actually one of the few Marvel couples written well. At least she's getting her own movie; let's hope that Hawkeye appears at least.

Falcon and Winter Soldier is coming to Disney+ later this year.
