Sebastian Stan Leaked Major Avengers 4 Spoilers Before Infinity War Premiere

Most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars are pretty careful when it comes to leaking spoilers about upcoming films. However, Sebastian Stan may have revealed a key scene in Avengers 4 even before Infinity War hit theaters earlier this year.

According to ComicBook.com, Stan stated that he filmed a huge scene for one of the Avengers movies and claimed that "everybody was there." The Captain America: Civil War actor dropped a few important names including Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer. Stan spoke about the scene at the ACE Comic-Con last April.

This certainly was a major spoiler. Although Jackson's Nick Fury had a brief appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, his cameo was in the post-credit sequence with Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill. Douglas and Pfeiffer were nowhere to be found in the movie and it was later revealed in Ant-Man and the Wasp that Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne were turned into dust.

So did Stan drop a major Avengers 4 spoiler? It's still possible that the Martian star had made the statement to mislead the fans. However, there might be some truth to the claim since Infinity War and A4 were filmed at the same time. We might need to wait until next year to see the major scene involving almost every MCU character.

Stan isn't the only one who had dropped spoilers before the Infinity War premiere. Mark Ruffalo famously revealed the film's ending in a joint interview with Don Cheadle. Ruffalo almost said that half of the characters get killed before changing it and saying, "Everybody dies."

Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
