Fans of Star Wars Rebels were disheartened when the beloved animated series wasn't renewed for a fifth season but thanks to the MandoVerse, characters like Ezra Bridger, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Sabine Wren have been given another go in the live-action universe. During last May's Star Wars Celebration, it was hinted that the upcoming Ahsoka series starring Rosario Dawson will pretty much serve as the continuation of Rebels which left fans quite ecstatic.

So far, Natasha Liu Bordizzo's entry to the show as Sabine Wren is the only casting that has been confirmed, and understandably, the actress is still on cloud nine after learning that she's joining Star Wars. We still don't know when Ahsoka hits Disney+ but according to a new report, Sabine will be making her live-action debut much sooner.

StarWarsNews.net speculates that Sabine will be making an appearance in The Mandalorian's third season which makes a lot of sense considering the character's history with the Darksaber. Following the report, scooper Jordan Maison pretty much confirmed that Wren will in fact be seen in Season 3.

Most of you may recall that in Star Wars Rebels, Sabine gifted Bo-Katan Kryze the Darksaber after she helped her destroy an Imperial weapon that targeted Mandalorian armor. So it makes complete sense storywise to add Sabine to the equation as Bo-Katan and Din Djarin battle for the right to wield the mythical weapon and rule the Mandalore throne.

The official release date for Ahsoka has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to hit Disney+ in February 2023.
