Ryan Reynolds Claims Free Guy is All-Time Favorite Film He's Ever Done

As we all wait for Ryan Reynolds to announce Deadpool 3, hopefully, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor is trying to get fans hyped up for his video game-inspired movie Free Guy. The actor seemed to really enjoy his time making this movie as he reiterated that this is his favorite film he's ever worked on. It's a surprising revelation for some but when you consider how many restrictions a Marvel movie like Deadpool has, we're sure an original IP allowed Reynolds more, funnily enough, freedom.

While sharing some Total Film covers of the Free Guy movie, Reynolds did what the opening paragraph said and reiterated how much he liked working on this movie. Most actors do point out how they enjoyed working on a movie but we doubt anyone ever went this hard on how much fun they had. We're going to assume that Reynolds had a lot of creative freedom here and a lot of us hope that it leads to a fun movie.

Some fans are hyped about the video game parody that focuses on an NPC for once while others have more reservations about it. It seems like a basic idea that needs some really good writing to carry it and the trailer didn't exactly showcase that, though enough people were amused by it. We're sure you can find a reaction video or two about it.

Free Guy will be coming out much later this year, on December 11. Hopefully, COVID-19 chills out by then so we can all check it out in a movie theater.
