I think we can all agree that Hugh Jackman has defined the Wolverine character and at this rate, it's hard to imagine someone else playing the role in live-action. There's also a good reason Marvel Studios brought him back to reprise the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, several years after he "retired" his adamantium claws in Logan.

But despite Jackman's stellar performance as Wolverine, longtime fans of the comics have been pointing out the biggest issue with his iteration of the beloved mutant — his inaccurate height.

You see, Wolverine has always been depicted as a short guy in the comics and even in the animated series. Jackman, who is 6'3 obviously looks nothing like the Logan most of us grew up with but to be fair, his portrayal pretty much made up for it.

Now, Jackman's Deadpool 3 co-star Ryan Reynolds is poking fun at Wolverine's live-action inaccuracies the only way the Canadian star could.

Taking to his official Threads account (via ComicBook), Reynolds shared a photo of a Wolverine action figure meant to take a dig at his co-star and forever nemesis Jackman.

Calling the figure "Comic accurate short king", even the actor couldn't help himself and had a little fun at the expense of the X-Men icon. Check it out here:

Meanwhile, it looks like Deadpool 3's production is in danger of being halted thanks to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Months after the WGA strike commenced, actors who are members of the organization aren't allowed to film any movie or television productions as well as participate in the promotions of their projects.

As it stands, Deadpool 3's production status remains unclear but it's already safe to say that a delay is inevitable.

Deadpool 3's release date has been moved up from Nov. 8, 2024, to May 3, 2024.
