Starting in 2010, Running Man has been serving a unique variety of games for its viewers. From being an urban action variety, it became a reality-variety show that focuses on games.
Despite the massive change, it is still able to outshine other programs and shows.
Running Man Ranks No. 1 on July Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute recently shared the list of programs that made it to the brand reputation rankings for variety shows.
As posted by Beyond Post, it is revealed that Running Man secured the number 1 spot again. The list was determined through KBRI’s analysis of consumer participation, community awareness, viewership indexes, and media coverage from June 3 to July 3.

The SBS variety show got the top spot by having a brand reputation index of 4,148,698. It saw a 13.91 percent increase compared to its score in June.
The title also trended alongside Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, and Jo Se Ho’s names. Meanwhile, the highest-ranking related term includes reveal, confess, and appear.
It contributed to a high positivity-negativity analysis, garnering 81.69 percent positive reactions from its viewers.
Running Man Beats Other Programs
Fifty popular variety programs faced each other to win a spot on the brand reputation rankings. But only the best managed to make it to the top 20.
Following Running Man on the list are How Do You Play? and My Little Old Boy. The programs earned 4,084,398 and 3,938,668 brand reputation indexes, respectively.
Meanwhile, Home Alone and Radio Star completed the top 5.
The remaining 15 programs are National Singing Competition, Shooting Stars (Kick a Goal), Knowing Bros(Ask Us Anything), National Athletes are National Athletes, 2 Days &1 Night Season 4, Call of the Country, The Backpacker Chef, Immortal Songs, Win or Nothing,The King of Mask Singer, Tuesday Night is the Best, You Quiz on the Block, I Am Solo, Same Bed Different Dreams, and We Got Divorced.
