Aquaman may be the only DCEU movie coming out this year, but Warner Bros is planning on a big comeback in 2019. Besides movies like Shazam! and Wonder Woman 2, we should also be expecting an all-girl team-up film called Birds of Prey.
So far, the only confirmed member in the roster is Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, but rumor has it that we'll be getting Black Canary introduced.
According to Omega Underground, Dinah Lance could be introduced in the all-girl team-up movie. So far, she's the only hero to have been ‘confirmed' for this roster. Some people would expect Batgirl to make her debut in this movie, but we haven't had any relevant updates.
It has been said before that Catwoman won't be making an appearance in this film, but there are still multiple possibilities from Poison Ivy to the Huntress.
With Suicide Squad being a total let down when it came out, I'm crossing my fingers that DC does something better with this Birds of Prey team-up. Hopefully they find some great chemistry with all the actresses they cast—because even if the films always end up polarizing, a lot of people agree that the casting has been spot on; save for Lex Luthor and the Joker, at least.
No release date has been set for Birds of Prey, but the film could come out in 2020.
