Rogue One’s Donnie Yen Is Going To Battle With Jackie Chan In Ip Man 4

Now that Donnie Yen's done playing the exceptional Force-sensitive blind Guardian of the Whill Chirrut Imwe in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the celebrated Hong Kong actor is making his way back to the Ip Man franchise with a new movie where the Wing Chun grandmaster comes face to face with Hollywood's favorite kung-fu fighter, Jackie Chan.

According to a report by the Chinese entertainment news outlet Jayne Stars (via Next Shark), Ip Man 4's biggest scene is going to be Yen's fight with Chan playing the role of "a respected Big Brother in Chinatown,"

Directed by Wilson Yip, the film will focus on the story of Bruce Lee's arrival in the US hoping to open his own school of the martial arts. However, the task turns out to be quite the challenge when Lee finds himself offending locals. Yen's Ip Man then comes to the rescue. Not only does the Wing Chun grandmaster earn the respect of the locals, but he also helps Lee in setting the foundation of martial arts in the US.

There's a lot to be excited about the fourth Ip Man installment. Not only can fans expect impressive fight scenes, but the film's also going to bring together Bruce Lee, Yip Man, and Jackie Chan. What more can we want in an Ip Man movie?
