Robert Pattinson Says He'll Turn to Porn if The Batman is a Failure

There is little doubt that taking on an iconic role like the Caped Crusader can be a huge pressure on an actor. However, it looks like Robert Pattinson already knows what he's going to do in case that The Batman doesn't turn out too well. The Lighthouse star claims he will be turning to porn as a follow-up to the upcoming DC flick.

Pattinson spoke to The Guardian where he admitted that he is getting tired of answering questions about The Batman and just wants to focus on the film.

"I'm already remembering what it's like to talk about a movie where there's an expectation. Whenever you say anything, people are like, ‘Argh! You idiot!' Like, dude, I haven't even started yet," he said.

Interestingly, Pattinson is already aware of what people are expecting of him but claims he's still the one person who will truly criticize his own performance.

"There is no harsher critic of myself than myself, so I don't need to worry about anyone else," Pattinson pointed out.

But what if The Batman turns out to be a flop? Pattinson says he is already planning his next project in case it goes downhill. "Porn, but art-house porn," he said with a laugh.

Now, it's important to point out that Pattinson is just joking about his next career move. Or at least, we hope he's not serious about it.

After numerous delays due to Covid, The Batman is scheduled to be released on March 4, 2022. It was originally scheduled for a 2021 release.
