Robert Pattinson is Keeping in Shape for The Batman

The COVID-19 pandemic may have forced Warner Brothers to put a halt on the production of Matt Reeve's The Batman, but that hasn't stopped Robert Pattinson from staying in shape for his role as DC's new Dark Knight.

Pictures of Pattinson jogging together with his girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse, have been making the rounds on Twitter the past few days. While the paused production for The Batman might have given Pattinson the opportunity to take a break, it's clear that the Lighthouse star has been trying his best to stay fit and keep in shape for his role as the Caped Crusader.

There's a lot of excitement building up over The Batman. Described by Matt Reeves as a noir detective movie, the upcoming Batman film is expected to feature many classic Batman villains from Catwoman to the Penguin. There's been a lot of praise for the script of The Batman going around. Not only has it been called "beautiful," but it's been described as a "dark," and "moving" telling of the Dark Knight's story.

There have been rumors going around that the film may include a new Joker, one that isn't played by Jared Leto or by Joaquin Phoenix. Of course, we advise fans to take the report with a grain of salt.

The Batman was just recently given the green light to resume principal photography in the UK, but Warner Brothers has yet to continue production.

The Batman is set for release on October 1, 2021.
