Rick and Morty Will Stream Exclusively on HBO Max in 2020

Rick and Morty Season 4 is coming out soon but if you were hoping that it would be streaming on Netflix in the future, that won't be happening. It seems like Adult Swim has struck a deal with HBO Max, which will be the streaming home for Rick and Morty in the immediate future. When you consider how popular the show is and how annoying some of its fans can be, this is a huge win for the streaming service.

Fans will have to wait a while since Variety confirmed that Rick and Morty will premiere on HBO Max in May 2020. That's still a long way away so fans can enjoy seeing the series on Netflix right now, assuming they're in international waters. Most of us are just happy about the fourth season coming out and now we know where to go if we want to rewatch everything.

It's clear that Rick and Morty is a huge phenomenon at this point, even bringing back an old and dead McDonald's sauce at one point. Sadly, this also led to a lot of annoying nerds storming their local McDonald's and being a bunch of jerks but that's beside the point. There's no doubt that Rick and Morty is the biggest franchise in Adult Swim's history and it's only going to get bigger.

Rick and Morty Season 4 debuts on Adult Swim on November 10.
