It's no mystery that the MCU is striving toward more representation. After the release of Black Panther, we got Captain Marvel, and during the climactic battle in Endgame, we saw all of the women just teaming up and kicking ass on their own. No doubt this is probably a taste of what we'll be getting more of in the future. We already have confirmation that The Eternals will feature the MCU's first gay male lead, and Shang-Chi will have our first MCU hero of Asian descent.

For now, everyone is just happy to get Endgame in theaters finally. We've been waiting for this clash ever since the first Avengers back in 2012, and boy does the movie deliver. I mean, I guess it doesn't stand well on its own, but as a story that culminates 22 films from the span of 10 years, it was every fan's dream come true.

Catch Avengers: Endgame in theaters today.
