Rasputin Plots and Schemes in The King's Man Latest Trailer

We finally have a new trailer for The King's Man and it's more than just awesome action sequences shot against a cool song (Edwin Starr's War). The latest teaser may have revealed the truth about Grigori Rasputin as he plots and schemes with an unexpected character.

The trailer opens with a mysterious man leading a meeting that includes Rhys Ifans' Rasputin, Daniel Bruhl's Felix Yusupov and more suspicious-looking characters. The man tells them that "this will not be a war of heroes" as "nations will slaughter each other." Needless to say, he's the mastermind behind the first World War and it looks like he's manipulating some heavy hitters.

Most of the footage in the new trailer has already been seen in the previous ones but the latest teaser seems to focus more on Rasputin as he meets Ralph Fiennes' Duke of Oxford. Interestingly, Rasputin also growls at the Duke's companion played by Harris Dickinson and we get a continuation of Rasputin's fight against the lead characters. This time, Gemma Arterton's Polly makes the villain drop his weapon and asks, "Why is it that boys are always messy?"

The synopsis for The King's Man reads as follows:

"As a collection of history's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King's Man."

The movie also stars Matthew Goode, Djimon Hounsou, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The King's Man is scheduled for release on September 18.
