Ragnarok Tessa Thompson Teases Thor 4 And Taika Waititi’s Return

Thor: Ragnarok was a major success for Marvel, raking in a lot of positive reviews from fans and critics. While fans speculate that Chris Hemsworth's Asgardian God of Thunder could be one of those to sacrifice their lives to undo Thanos' (Josh Brolin) massacre, the actor's Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson teases the possibility of another Thor movie.

Speaking in a recent interview with the LA Times, Thompson decided to open up about reprising her role as Valkyrie in Endgame. The character had been missing in Avengers: Infinity War, however, character posters for the film's sequel suggested that Valkyrie would be appearing in the second installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie.

During her discussion with the news outlet, Thompson teased that she's heard there have been talks for a fourth Thor film with Ragnarok director Taika Waititi set to return to helm the project.

"I heard that a pitch has happened for [another Thor film]. I don't know how real that intel is, but I hear that the pitch has happened. I think the idea is Taika would come back," the actress revealed.

This might not come as a surprise knowing that Waititi has been open to the possibility of returning for a fourth Thor film. However, ever since Infinity War, many fans have assumed that Thor would be one of those who'd give up their lives to bring back those that were turned into dust after the Decimation.

Could this mean that Thor survives Endgame? Or will someone else take up the mantle after the film?

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
