The health of Queen Elizabeth has been in the spotlight since her COVID-19 diagnosis in February. The growing medical concerns for Her Majesty continue after Buckingham Palace confirmed she had cold-like symptoms two months ago and has been carrying on with light royal duties.
The advice from her medical team has heightened the worry about the health of Queen Elizabeth, who has canceled many public appearances. The British monarch decided to leave Buckingham Palace for good in March and made Windsor Castle her full-time home.
Now, new reports have it that Queen Elizabeth is in such frail shape that she secretly uses a mobility scooter to get around behind closed doors. Keep on reading to know more details.
'Weak' Queen Elizabeth Using Motorized Scooter?
In its upcoming May 2, 2022 issue, Globe Magazine reported that Queen Elizabeth is hiding that she is in such bad shape. However, she reportedly refuses to look weak in public and privately zips around on a motorized scooter.
Rather than divulging her weakened state, sources claimed the image-conscious queen is canceling public appearances. Though Queen Elizabeth allegedly has her mobility scooter to help her move around, she still needs to cane to walk.
Royal expert Robert Jobson said:
"It comes down to mobility. Sometimes she is more mobile than others. When she can walk with a stick, they make the arrangement accordingly. Other times, it's not so easy."
Queen Elizabeth has reportedly been adamant she would not look like an invalid while carrying out official duties, such as gracing a memorial tribute for the late Prince Philip.
Robert Jobson added there were talks "about her using a wheelchair," but she firmly rejected the idea because she wanted to prove she was still in change. A royal insider added:
"The queen doesn't want to show any weakness to the public, especially with the scandalous shame her son Prince Andrew and grandson Harry have brought on the monarchy."
Most, if not all, royal fans can recall that Prince Andrew settled a Manhattan lawsuit accusing him of raping Jeffrey Epstein's ex-s*x slave Virginia Giuffre when she was still 17, and he was 41. The father of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice denied the encounter but paid around $16 million for settlement.
Prince Harry, for his part, had called the British royal family "racist" and refused to give help to Meghan Markle when she was having mental health issues. In January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked everyone when they announced their decision to quit the royal life.
With all the mayhem and turmoil, the insider stated:
"...the last thing the queen wants is for people to see her so weakened she needs a wheelchair or scooter to get around. The monarchy desperately needs to look solid now and the queen is determined to show strength in public."
Queen Elizabeth has yet to comment on the reports saying that she is secretly using a mobility scooter. So, devoted supporters of Her Majesty should take all these unverified reports lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Ed Sheeran To Play A Special Rose At Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran is confirmed to lead the U.K. in a musical tribute to Queen Elizabeth as the country comes together to celebrate her 70 years of service with a special four-day weekend of events starting on June 2. Reports have it that the singer-songwriter is set to perform outside Buckingham Palace on June 5 in the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
Organizers of the event are calling it the "People's Pageant" and are remaining mum about the details of Ed Sheeran's performance, including the songs that he would be singing in the said event. It remains to be seen if the pop star would lead the national anthem or perform some of his hit singles.
In a statement released after the confirmation of his attendance at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Ed Sheeran said:
"I am looking forward to performing at The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Pageant in June. I'm proud to be part of the celebration and it's going to be a great opportunity to bring everyone together."
People Magazine reported there is a possibility that Ed Sheeran would ride on one of the many open-topped London buses that would be part of the carnival. Each one would cover a decade of Queen Elizabeth's reign and carry people associated with each period.
