Queen Elizabeth had a soft spot for her youngest granddaughter, Lady Louise Windsor, according to a report. The pair were reportedly very close.

Queen Elizabeth Very Close To Lady Louise Windsor?

There were rumors that Queen Elizabeth was probably closest to Prince Harry and Prince William. However, she also had a close bond with her other grandchildren.

The Queen had been spotted many times with Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, and the latter's daughter, Lady Louise. She was tactile around the mother and daughter, which reportedly spoke volumes about their close bond.

Here's what body language Judi James said about their relationship via Express:

"The queen has been seen looking rather unusually spontaneously tactile with both Sophie and Louise in public, and this suggests a very relaxed relationship with both of them."

She continued:

"Like her mother, Sophie, who the Queen was clearly very close to, Louise's body language seemed to project signals of a calm, low-fuss personality with high levels of emotional empathy. She also seems to have inherited a rather regal bearing that hints at her lineage."

Queen Elizabeth, Lady Louise Windsor Share The Same Passion?

James added that Queen Elizabeth and Lady Louise Windsor are connected through their love for horses. The Queen had been known for owning several horses. She inherited the breeding and racing stock of her late father, King George VI, and enjoyed numerous horse races, People reported.

The Queen even passed her love for horseback riding on to her daughter Princess Anne, who became the first royal to compete in the Olympics. The Princess Royal rode in the equestrian three-day event at the 1976 Games in Montreal.

According to James, Lady Louise is also into horses. She had a close relationship with Prince Philip as they both loved carriage driving.

James said this about Lady Louise:

"Like the Queen's late husband, Louise is known for her love of carriage driving. She is seen as carrying on his legacy for this passion in his life and the link must also be a very poignant one for the Queen."
