The Princess of York took to Instagram and shared a snap of her with her son, August. In the photo, the royal mom stands and smiles while looking down at her baby, who is kissing her baby bump.

Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, is nowhere in sight because he was the one who captured the moment between the mother and son.

"We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer," Princess Eugenie wrote in the caption.

The announcement received several responses, with many congratulating the family of three.

"Congrats Princess Eugenie, Jack and August," one wrote. Another added, "We love you Your Highness Eugenie #princesseugenie."

Princess Eugenie's mom, Sarah Ferguson, also commented, "Granny heaven" with a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, one royal fan jokingly wrote, "We're assuming you mean a new baby and not a new horse in the back ground!"

Princess Eugenie Confirms Pregnancy Rumors

Princess Eugenie's pregnancy announcement confirmed the rumors that she's expecting a baby. In December, she joined Kate Middleton and the other royals for the Princess of Wales' annual Christmas concert.

Many noticed that she seemed to hide a baby bump underneath her smart checked coat, sparking rumors that she's pregnant.

"She had her hand on her tummy most of the time," an eyewitness said at the time. "And Jack was being very protective the whole time."

"Great news! Good to finally have it confirmed. Anyone seeing her at the carol concert back in December knew she was pregnant. Tying her jacket belt above her waist was a dead giveaway. I'm not the only one who suspected," one royal fan commented.
