Princess Diana went to her grave believing that Prince Charles had a steamy affair with the nanny of Prince William and Prince Harry, who had an abortion when the future King got her pregnant, a new report suggested.

Is Princess Diana Killed By A Lie?

Globe Magazine, in its latest edition, claimed that rogue reporter Martin Bashir concocted a twisted fiction about Prince Charles bedding his son’s nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke, and manufactured false documents to back up his tale.

The sketchy journalist allegedly did this in an attempt to convince the late Princess Diana to expose her marital problems on BBC’s Panorama news program.

Former psychic Simone Simmons told the entertainment news publication:

“Diana burst into tears when she told me about Charles and Tiggy. Her face went beet-red. She was very angry.”

An unnamed high-level palace insider also claimed:

“Sadly, Diana never learned the truth. She was heartbroken over the affair and abortion – and it prompted her to air all the details of her troubled marriage to Charles on BBC in 1995. Shaw saw the interview as an act of self-preservation – and revenge. Diana feared there was no end to the damning betrayals by Charles, who’d been cheating on her with his married mistress, Camilla Parker-Bowles, who is now his wife. Diana became paranoid, convinced she could trust no one. She believed there was a conspiracy to get rid of her permanently and ran from everything royal. We believe she might be alive today if she’d known she’s been conned – because the BBC interview was actually her public declaration of divorce.”

However, it took over 20 years for the truth to come out. The heartless hoax of Martin Bashir was reportedly exposed during a defamation lawsuit brought by Tiggy Legge-Bourke in London’s High Court.

Globe Magazine reported that BBC was accused of whitewashing an investigation into the scandal, agreed to pay Tiggy, who is now known as Alexandra Pettifer, almost $250,000 and publicly apologized to her and the royals for the “false and malicious allegations” Martin Bashir made.

Princess Diana’s Brother Used To Obtain Details?

Meanwhile, Charles Spencer, the brother of the late Princess Diana, was reportedly furious and called for a new police probe, claiming Martin Bashir also “groomed” him to get access to his sister. He said:

“I was shown forged bank statements. I was told of underhand payments, spying and appalling deception. But I was the one being deceived for Bashir to get to my late sister.”

Other informants also claimed that aside from telling Princess Diana about Prince Charles allegedly bedding her son’s nanny, Martin Bashir reportedly tricker her by showing a faked receipt for an abortion. The mother of Prince William and Prince Harry was reportedly convinced that she confronted Tiggy at a Christmas party where she said:

“So sorry to hear about the baby.”

As if that is not enough, Martin Bashir reportedly also played on the paranoia of Princess Diana when he showed fake documents indicating intelligence services were playing people close to her to watch her every move. Charles Spencer said:

“The agonizing lies she was told by the BBC ensured a very skewed and false view of the situation she was in. This terrible scandal deceived her into forgoing those who cared for her and would have protected her.”

The unidentified palace insider noted that Princess Diana dumped her police protection because she did not trust anyone. The tattler added:

“She ultimately relied on her boyfriend Dodi Fayed’s private security, which, as we all know, proved totally inadequate. The lie that broke Diana’s heart also led to her death. The BBC – and others 00 have her blood on their hands.”

To recall, Princess Diana died in the early hours of Aug. 31, 1997, from the injuries she sustained in a car crash in the Pont de I’Alma tunnel in Paris, France.

The former wife of Prince Charles and Dodi Fayed were riding in his Mercedes limo when his driver lost control and crashed in the tunnel, killing them. Only a bodyguard survived.
