Princess Anne has been the hardest working royal in recent years. The Princess Royal is not slowing down and recently visited Watchfield Primary School as part of a visit to Oxfordshire and the Defence Academy, where she joined an activity that honors the Queen's upcoming major event.

Princess Anne Joins Students And Plants A Tree To Celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee

Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her 70th anniversary as monarch this year. Her Majesty established the Queen's Green Canopy initiative to leave a lasting legacy by encouraging individuals and organizations to "plant a tree for the jubilee."

Princess Anne visited Watchfield Primary School and even joined the pupil-led eco-council to plant a tree to support the monarch's initiative. The tree planting season ends this month, so it's currently at the prime period for establishing new trees, Good Housekeeping reported.

Princess Anne was photographed standing with a huge smile on her face next to a freshly planted tree with a spade in hand. Three pupils and a staff member also posed alongside her in the picture.

The Royal Family's official Instagram account shared Princess Anne's adorable photo.

"The Princess Royal joins Watchfield Primary School’s eco-council to dedicate a tree to the @queensgreencanopy, which is just one of the ways you can celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee," the caption read.

Princess Anne Received Praises From The Netizens

Several royals fans were delighted to see Prince Charles' sister still doing her duties to support the monarchy. The Princess Royal, 71, has never slowed down when it comes to taking on royal duties. In fact, for several years in a row, she has been the busiest working royal taking on the most number of engagements than Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Prince William.

The netizens who saw Princess Anne's photo joining the pupils for the tree planting to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee thanked Princess Anne and praised her for her dedication and service for the monarchy.

Prince Charles plans to slim down the monarchy when he takes over the throne from Queen Elizabeth II. According to a report, the heir apparent will likely retain nine royals in their positions and many believed that Princess Anne will make the cut. However, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew, who stepped down from their royal duties, might not make it.
