King Charles was crowned as the new monarch last month following Queen Elizabeth's passing. There is a division about the new monarch's leadership, with some preferring Prince William to take the throne. However, the heir of the late Queen is no one else but King Charles.

King Charles Abdicating The Throne Or Not?

Journalist Richard Eden, editor of the Daily Mail Diary, Eden Confidential and Palace Confidential at Mail Plus, made a tweet that raised some eyebrows.

"King Charles is 'considering abdication', he tells me," his tweet read.

He also shared a short overview of his conversation with King Charles.

"King Charles tells me he's planning to give up the throne. 'I want to take the best advice, but I'm now considering abdication,' says indie-folk musician Charles Costa, who has built a fanbase performing under the name King Charles," part of Eden's post read.

"I was actually introduced to him as King Charles at a reception at St. James's Palace," King Charles told Eden. "He thought it was funny and didn't ask me to change my name."

King Charles has no plan to abdicate. He has prepared the majority of his life for his current position.

The new monarch will have his coronation on June 3, 2023, at Westminster Abbey, in the United Kingdom, Bloomberg reported.

Also, Prince William had previously stated that he had no intention of climbing the ladder before his father. The Prince of Wales clarified that he didn't want to be a king before his father and would honor his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, by supporting his father, King Charles' reign.
