Prince William And Prince Harry’s Argument Over Latter’s Royal Wedding Beard Lasted For An Entire Week?
In one of his stories, Prince Harry revealed that he and Prince William argued for an entire week over the former’s decision to keep his beard for his royal wedding to Meghan Markle. At the time, Queen Elizabeth had already allowed the Duke of Sussex to wear his beard on his big day.
However, Prince William reportedly became enraged and told Prince Harry that their grandmother must have allowed him to keep his beard simply because she had a soft spot for him.
So, the Prince of Wales tried his best to convince Prince Harry to get rid of his facial hair. And when he didn’t, the dad of three revealed his plot to have their friends forcefully shave Prince Harry’s beard if he got too drunk during his bachelor’s party.

Prince Harry Claims Prince William Must Have Been Upset Because He Wasn’t Allowed To Keep His Beard?
According to Markle’s husband, he believed that Prince William’s obsession with him not getting rid of his beard stemmed from the fact that he had to shave his when he got married to Kate Middleton.
Prince William wasn’t also allowed to wear the military uniform that he wanted to wear on his wedding day, unlike Prince Harry. The latter suggested that his older brother must have been jealous of the perks that he received because he was the spare and he was the heir.
But in the end, Prince Harry decided to put his foot down, and he told Prince William that he could either get on board with his plan to wed Markle or not. But regardless of his decision, he would still wear his beard and push through with the wedding.
“Finally, I told him flatly and defiantly that his bearded brother was getting married soon, and he could either get on board or not. The choice was to him. There has always been this competition between us, weirdly. I think it really plays into or always played by the ‘heir/spare,” he wrote (via Us Weekly).
Prince William Hates Prince Harry And Meghan Markle, Source Claims
Following Prince Harry’s revelations about Prince William in Spare, an unnamed friend of the latter spoke with The Daily Beast and said that the future king hates his brother and Markle and he also feels utterly betrayed.
“It’s impossible to exaggerate the extent of [William’s] contempt for Harry and Meghan now. He absolutely hates them, and can’t believe that Harry would do this to him and to Kate. He feels utterly betrayed and deeply saddened by everything that has happened. There will be no way back after this. The thing that is so sad is that this was a tight family. Harry has blown it all up. For what? He has literally turned his entire family against him,” the unnamed friend said.
