King Charles and Prince William have packed schedules because of their duties to the British monarchy and the royal family. But between the two, it seems that the monarch has more things on his plate because of his important role.
Prince William Previously Admitted That King Charles’ Busy Schedule Left Him Frustrated?
According to reports, Prince William previously complained about King Charles’ busy schedule and said that when and Prince Harry was still growing up, there were many times when they couldn’t say good night to their dad. After all, his office is packed with work papers.
In the documentary Prince, Son, and Heir: Charles at 70, Prince William admitted that King Charles’ busy schedule was a cause for frustration for him.
“He has amazing personal discipline. So, he has – and it’s frustrated me in the past a lot – he has a routine. The only way to fit all this stuff in is for things have to be compartmentalized. The man never stops. I mean, when we were kids there was bags and bags and bags of work that the office just sent to him,” Prince William said (via Cheat Sheet).

Queen Consort Camilla Felt Some Empathy Toward Princess Diana Because Of King Charles’ Busy Schedule?
In the book, The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor – The Truth and the Turmoil, royal author Tina Brown said that Queen Consort Camilla also struggled to keep up with King Charles’ packed schedule.
Since she’s not always punctual, the royal couple would always face hiccups in their relationship every time Queen Consort Camilla does not check the briefing.
“The prince’s routine was relentless. Punctuality had never been Camilla’s strong suit, but Charles expected her to be ready for engagements at his own regimented pace. When she asked where they were going, he would snap: ‘Haven’t you read the brief?’” she said.
Queen Consort Camilla’s pal also reportedly said that the mom of two felt some empathy toward Princess Diana because she finally had an idea of what the late royal went through while married to King Charles.
King Charles’ Potentially Got His Work Ethic From Prince Philip And Queen Elizabeth
By the looks of it, King Charles got his work ethic from his late parents, Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth. Both royals worked until they either retired or passed away while still serving as monarch.
In fact, Queen Elizabeth died just days after she made a public appearance with former Prime Minister Liz Truss. A snap of the late monarch shows her smiling ear to ear while looking straight into the camera. At the time, royal fans noticed that the queen looked frail as ever.
