Prince William supports the Queen's decision in making Camilla a "Queen Consort" when it's his father Prince Charles' time to take over the throne. The Duke of Cambridge respects his grandmother's choice, a report says.

Prince William Respects Queen's Decision About Queen Camilla

Prince Harry and Prince William didn't have an easy relationship with Camilla at first because their mom blamed their father's affair with her for their divorce. However, the second in line to the throne is pragmatic about the Duchess of Cornwall's role in his father's life and the monarchy's future.

"The duke is supportive," a well-placed source told Daily Mail. "None of this can have been easy for him."

The insider said there were "huge family rows" when Prince Charles married Camilla and Prince William didn't have the best relationship with his father. The same can be said with Prince Harry, who even criticized the Prince of Wales' parenting.

However, in time, everyone found their feet. As one insider said, "time is a great healer — in many different ways." After several years, Prince William has witnessed how Camilla has made his father happy and that is something he has come to terms with.

"His relationship with the Prince of Wales is better than it ever has been. He is not particularly close to his stepmother, but they get on perfectly well and are quite the blended family now," the tipster continued. "He also respects his grandmother and her judgment more than anything in the world. If it is right for her, then it will be right for him."

Did Prince Harry Respond To The Queen's Announcement Like Brother Prince William?

The outlet noted that Prince Harry has not released any statement or reaction about the Queen's announcement on the eve of her Accession Day. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also did not release a statement to congratulate Her Majesty on her 70th anniversary of succession to the throne.

However, their fans speculate that they might release a statement soon. After all, they named their daughter Lilibet after the Queen's moniker.

As for Prince Harry's relationship with Camilla, just like his big brother, it wasn't easy at first. However, both have learned to accept Camilla for their dad.

When Meghan Markle's husband turned 21 years old, he spoke warmly of his stepmother saying Camilla was "a wonderful woman and she's made our father very, very happy, which is the most important thing."

"William and I love her to bits," Prince Harry added. "To be honest with you, she's always been very close to me and William... but no, she's not the wicked stepmother. I'll say that right now."

So, more likely, just like Prince William, Prince Harry will support the Queen's decision making Camilla "Queen Consort" when their father Prince Charles becomes king.
