Prince William, Kate Middleton Shock: Prince Harry's Brother, Sister-In-Law Reportedly Not Brave Enough to Admit They Were Fans of Meghan Markle's Show

Prince William and Kate Middleton were reportedly fans of Meghan Markle's hit TV show Suits, according to Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex detailed several encounters between him, his wife, and the royal family in his book Spare. According to him, his big brother and sister-in-law used to watch his wife's legal drama series on TV, but they didn't admit it during their first meetings with Markle.

Prince Harry wrote, GeoTV reported:

"We talked about Wimbledon that night, and Suits, and Willy and Kate weren’t brave enough to admit to being superfans. Which was sweet."

Prince Harry also shared in the book how he opened up about the "new woman" in his life. He made the Prince and Princess of Wales swear before telling them his new mystery woman starred in Suits.

According to Prince Harry, both were shocked when he told them about Markle. He said this about Prince William and Middleton's reaction per Page Six.

"Their mouths fell open. They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said, ‘F–k off?’"

Prince Harry said he was shocked by his brother and sister-in-law's response until they told him that "they were regular — nay, religious — viewers of Suits."

Meghan Markle Recalls First Meeting With Kate Middleton

In the second episode of Harry & Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex shared how her first meeting with her sister-in-law turned out. Apparently, it wasn't as nice as many thought, with Markle alleging that Middleton was not a hugger.

Markle said, according to Town & Country:

"It's so funny if I look back at it now, because now I know so much, and I'm so glad I didn't then because I could just authentically be myself without so much preparedness."

She continued:

"Even when Will and Kate came over, and I had met her for the first time... They came for dinner, I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot. I was a hugger, always been a hugger. I didn't realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits."

The Princess of Wales has been on a hugging spree in the past weeks. Many thought that it was Middleton's response to Markle claiming she is not a hugger. Some experts felt that it was "a little orchestrated" already.
