Prince Harry Reportedly Worried About Memoir, So Wife Meghan Markle Stepped In

Last year, the Duke of Sussex announced that he would be working on a memoir. It will be the first account of his life story.

Royal fans have been waiting for Prince Harry's book. There are rumors that it will be delayed, but there has been no released date yet.

An unnamed insider told Heat magazine (via Express) that Prince Harry is "worried sick" that his book will lead to a new war with the members of the firm.

In June, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex flew to the United Kingdom to join the royal family for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebration. The row between the royals and the Sussexes was apparent.

At the St. Paul Cathedral, there was no interaction between the Sussexes and the members of the royal family. They were also seated several rows behind the senior royals.

However, while Prince Harry is worried, his wife is allegedly unbothered and reportedly told him to not tone it down and just write his truth.

"Meghan is urging him to tell his truth and not hide what really happened," the anonymous tipster continued.

Despite Markle stepping in to help her husband, it seemed that the process had remained challenging for the royal prince, who reportedly struggled with what to include or skip.

"Every passage is being revised again and again. Harry keeps remembering new things he wants to include, and then suddenly panics about toning down certain anecdotes," the source added.

What Did Prince Harry Say About His Book

Prince Harry announced his memoir in July last year. Penguin Random House will publish it in late 2022.

In a press release, the publisher said it would be an "intimate and heartfelt memoir" that will cover his lifetime in the public eye from his childhood to the present day, including his years in the military.

The Duke of Sussex also released a statement about his highly anticipated memoir.

"I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. "I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful."
