Prince Harry seemingly wanted not to be involved in the drama between his wife, Meghan Markle, and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, according to a body language expert.
Prince Harry Wants To Hide From Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle's Drama?
The Duke of Sussex talked about his family drama in his media appearances. Among the things he disclosed in the "baby brain" comment, Markle made to Middleton.
Body language expert Judi James weighed in on Prince Harry's gestures while he spoke about the issue on ITV with Tom Bradby. He was noticeably calm while talking about the issue between the two duchesses, but the expert said he wanted to "hide" from the "baby brain" jibe drama.
"When he gets to the meeting of the not-so-Fab-Four to make things up we hear that Kate held the arms of her seat so tightly her knuckles went white," James told The Sun.
"Harry stretches his legs at this point, shoving both hands between his thighs in a self-protective ritual that suggests a desire to hide. Harry's body language is incongruent when he speaks about Kate."
Prince William's younger brother had spoken a lot of not-so-flattering things about the Princess of Wales in his book and interviews. However, James noticed that there was a point when he couldn't hide his fondness for the future queen consort.
"Verbally and with his gestures he seems to sink to playground level describing his childhood spats with William, but when he comes up to the moment Kate entered their lives there is an unmistakable wrinkling and softening of the eye area, suggesting a spontaneous outbreak of fond emotions despite the narrative of the lack of bonding between the two couples."
Prince Harry Says He Wants To Make Kate Middleton Laugh
The Duke of Sussex wrote a lot of things about Kate Middleton in his memoir. He shared an awkward moment with Markle and Middleton when the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly "grimaced" after the Duchess of Sussex borrowed her lip gloss.
Prince Harry also claimed that Middleton made his wife cry in the run-up to their royal wedding. The two women reportedly had a fiery exchange with Middleton complaining about Princess Charlotte's ill-fitting dress.
However, he also mentioned that Markle commented on Middleton's forgetfulness and blamed it down on the latter's "baby brain."
Prince Harry said Middleton told his wife they were not close enough to talk that way. Prince William reportedly supported his wife, saying, "That's now what's done here in Britain."
While Prince Harry seemingly took several jabs at his sister-in-law, he also described her as "carefree, sweet, kind." He even recounted how they had a "great time" laughing at Prince William's ridiculous costume for a party.
"I liked seeing Kate laugh. Better yet, I liked making her laugh. And I was quite good at it. My transparently silly side connected with her heavily disguised silly side," Prince Harry said of the Princess of Wales.
"Whenever I worried that Kate was going to be the one to take Willy from me, I consoled myself with thoughts of all our future laughing fits together, and I told myself how great everything would be when I had a serious girlfriend who could laugh along with us."
