Prince Harry Shock: Meghan Markle's Husband's UN Speech Carefully Crafted To 'Get Money', Boost Profile For Netflix, Royal Biographer Tom Bower Claims

Prince Harry allegedly has an ulterior motive for his speeches. A royal biographer weighed in on Meghan Markle's husband's speaking gigs and claimed that it was for the money and to boost his profile for his upcoming Netflix projects.

Why Does Prince Harry Agree To Make Speeches?

Prince Harry delivered his keynote speech at the UN Assembly in New York City for Nelson Mandela Day. British journalist and biographer Tom Bower claimed that his speech was carefully crafted to make him prestigious for Netflix.

"Why does he do this, what does he think he achieves by it?" Piers Morgan asked Bower on TalkTV.

"He does it because he needs a profile, that's the only way they can get money by showing the profile and for Netflix," Bower replied, according to the outlet. "Everything is built around the future documentary series to promote the Sussexes."

Piers wondered if the UN could have "avoided using people like Harry," who are usually controversial.

"The UN is quite famous for being a centre of hot air," the author of the Rebel Prince said. "What was unbelievable was Mandela's legacy was really betrayed by the South Africans and South Africa could have been a completely different country if Mandela had been able to live a few more years. I just thought he really skitted over all the problems of Africa and the self-inflicted problems when he just lives in luxury in Montecito."

Prince Harry's UN Speech Was 'Confusing And Insulting,' Meghan McCain Says

Meghan McCain reacted to Prince Harry's keynote address, and apparently, she disapproved of it. Prince Harry spoke about climate change, the overturning of Roe v Wade, lies and disinformation and war in Ukraine.

"The speech was confusing and wildly insulting to the undoubtedly few Americans, who may have been watching," McCain said about Prince Harry's remarks in an article for Daily Mail. "It is hard for me to understand why anyone should care what the Duke of Sussex thinks – let alone what he thinks about America."

"Just because one may disagree with the outcome of a Supreme Court ruling, does not make it a threat to democracy," she continued. "If Harry ever voted in a U.S. election, maybe he would have known that. But of course, he hasn't because he is not a citizen."
