Prince Harry Is Reportedly 'Angry' Not 'Sad' While Speaking About His Family
Prince Harry has a sit-down interview with ITV's Tom Bradby and 60 Minutes ahead of the release of his upcoming memoir, Spare. In his interview with Bradby, he expressed his interest in getting back with his family.
Body language expert Judi James weighed in on the Duke of Sussex's gestures and words after seeing the teaser. However, she felt that his tone and gestures revealed something different from what he was saying.
When Prince Harry said he wanted his father and brother back, he said those "with challenge and some hint of anger rather than sadness and regret," James told The Sun.
"His chin raises then drops with his expression landing in something resembling a sulk," the expert added. "This does not look like a throwing out of the arms in a gesture of reconciliation, rather a determination for things to be done on his own terms."
In the same interview, he said they were not willing to reconcile and somehow wanted to keep them the villains.
"When he talks about being made 'the villain' his brows raise in an expression of indignant innocence," James added.
"He says there is ‘no willingness to reconcile’ with a dismissive left shoulder shrug, some staccato blinks and head shakes, as though he’s given up trying. His hands do perform a ritual that suggests a desire to self-calm and self-reassure though as he rubs his thumbs together and crosses them."

So when we are being told for the last six years we can’t put a statement out to protect you, but you do it for the rest of the family, there becomes a point when silence is betrayal."

According to reports, Spare will only take his beef with his brother, Prince William, to the next level. An anonymous source told The Sun that Prince Harry's book would center on "sibling rivalry" and target the Prince and Princess of Wales.
"The falling out is to be covered in the book in detail and what aggravates is it's not an outsider revealing these private moments — it's Harry giving his one-sided account of family affairs. Harry and William were meant to stick together and support each other," the insider said.
Prince Harry's memoir Spare will be released on Jan. 10.
