Prince Harry has finally opened up about a private matter that has been circulating in the tabloids for many years. As the son of King Charles and Princess Diana, it is understandable why the public has so much interest in Prince Harry and Prince William's lives.
In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry revealed that he's aware of the ongoing rumors claiming that he and Prince William were not circumcised. He said that the different publications alleged that Princess Diana did not want her children to undergo the procedure.

But Meghan Markle's wife confirmed that this wasn't the case. He and Prince William were circumcised shortly after they were born.
"The press had written about it extensively. There were countless stories in books and papers (even the New York Times) about Willy and me not being circumcised. Mummy had forbidden it, they all said, and while it's absolutely true that the chance of getting penile frostbite is much greater if you're not circumcised, all the stories were false. I was snipped as a baby," he said (via New Idea).

Prince Harry also talked about a condition that he was dealing with while at Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding in 2011.
"Pa was very interested and sympathetic about the discomfort of my frost-nipped ears and cheeks, and it was an effort not to overshare and tell him also about my equally tender penis. Upon arriving home I'd been horrified to discover that my nether regions were frost nipped as well, and while the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn't," he wrote.

Other than his very personal stories, Prince Harry also shared other anecdotes involving the royal family in Spare. For instance, he detailed what it was like walking behind Princess Diana's coffin after she passed away in 1997.
"Willy would walk alone. He was fifteen, after all," Harry writes. "Leave the younger one out of it. Spare the Spare. This alternative plan was sent up the chain. Back came the answer. It must be both princes. To garner sympathy, presumably. Uncle Charles [Spencer, Diana's brother] was furious. But I wasn't. I didn't want Willy to undergo an ordeal like that without me. Had the roles been reversed, he'd never have wanted me—indeed, allowed me—to go it alone," he wrote (via E! News).
Prince Harry also said that he drew loads of strength from that heartbreaking moment from his older brother. He didn't allow his vision to lose sight of Prince William.
"I remember feeling numb. I remember clenching my fists. I remember keeping a fraction of Willy always in the corner of my vision and drawing loads of strength from that. Most of all I remember the sounds, the clinking bridles and clopping hooves of the six sweaty brown horses, the squeaking wheels of the gun carriage they were hauling…" he wrote.
