Prince Harry will attend King Charles' coronation sans his wife, Meghan Markle. A royal expert speculates that he might use it as another opportunity to assault the royals.

Prince Harry Plotting Next Assault Against His Family?

Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, weighed in on Prince Harry's attendance at King Charles' coronation next month. He was concerned that he would take advantage of the opportunity to use the event against the members of the firm.

He said this about Prince Harry, per Mirror:

"Harry is keeping the door open and preserving his unique selling point by being Royal. That's what the Americans love, the fact they're Royal. Harry will have to face his family, the ones he has criticised. He will even have to bow and kiss the hand of Queen Camilla, and that's going to be a very tough pill to swallow."

He added:

"He will also be gathering anecdotes for his next assault on his family.”

Some claimed that the Duke of Sussex would use the event to complain about the royals' treatment of him if they would not welcome him warmly. Prince Harry and Markle received a cold reception from his family during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last year.

Prince Harry's Attendance Received Mixed Responses

Prince William's younger brother has made several statements against his family and the institution. Although his attendance made many happy, some didn't expect him to show up due to the serious allegations he made against his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William.

Robert Jobson, author of the new book Our King: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, told Daily Mail:

"It is good news that Harry has accepted the invite and will be there to support his father. It is the most pragmatic move in a difficult situation, and Harry has got it right. He would deeply regret it if he didn't attend the biggest day of his father's life."

Another said:

"That's disappointing, I was hoping they would both stay away. [Harry] probably needs material for his next book. 'Everyone was mean to me' #waagh 2."
