Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Harry are allegedly in a PR battle. A royal expert weighed in on the alleged invisible clash between the two and believed that Prince Charles' wife won over Meghan Markle's husband.

Royal Expert Prefers Duchess Camilla Parker-Bowles Over Prince Harry

Neil Sean, royal and entertainment correspondent for NBC News, MSNBC and Access Hollywood, spoke about Prince Harry and Duchess Camilla on his YouTube channel. He noted that in the past days, there had been a lot of reports about the Duke of Sussex.

He named three major things related to Prince Harry, which he claimed were PR stunts. First, he pointed out the reports about the delay of Prince Harry's upcoming memoir. Second, he mentioned the Sussexes' trip to New York next week to join the UN General Assembly to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day. Third, he referred to Prince Harry's most recent video for BetterUp about mental fitness.

Sean criticized Prince Harry's PR stunt on his YouTube channel because Prince Charles' youngest son said he wanted a private life. However, he seemed to be enjoying the spotlight and makes a move when something is up with the senior members of the royal family.

Sean cited his insiders who told him that Prince Harry's most recent PR stunts are not a coincidence with his stepmother's PR for her upcoming milestone birthday, but "It's more a case of making sure that he takes the focus off Camilla." The Duchess of Cornwall will celebrate her 75th birthday Sunday.

For Sean, between the two, Camilla is winning over Harry in their PR battle.

"But I think at the battle of the PR right now, I would say that Camilla is winning because she's dignified, gracious, respectful and actually, doing some very good work on behalf of the British monarchy for so long," Sean said.

Prince Harry And Meghan's Biographer Talks About Camilla's PR Stunt

Royal correspondent Omid Scobie also talked about Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles' alleged PR stunt ahead of her 75th birthday. According to the Finding Freedom co-author, the time has turned in Camilla's favor.

Scobie wrote in Yahoo! News that Camilla has the "eagerness to engage with and win over the press that has made her a favourite member of the royal family for many to cover."

He also pointed out how Camilla turned around her "unpopularity to become hugely loved by the nation." The royal correspondent mentioned Camilla's friendly interactions with royal photographers and "sharp wit." He admitted that even he, himself, enjoyed his engagements with Prince Charles' wife.

The PR for Camilla was successful, according to Scobie, because she had risen in the royal family's popularity rank. The future queen consort is even more popular than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the U.K.

Scobie also agreed that the PR push for Camilla had been in full swing this week before her milestone birthday. He mentioned Camilla's British Vogue photoshoot, magazine cover for Country Life magazine and a primetime special documentary in her honor.

But for Scobie, the major boost in Camilla's PR was the Queen's approval of her when Her Majesty announced that she would be a queen consort when Prince Charles becomes king. The 96-year-old monarch announced the news on the eve of her Ascension Day, and Prince Harry didn't release a statement about it. Instead, he said he would continue his mom Princess Diana's work on HIV four days after his grandmother's major announcement about Camilla.

According to Sean, Prince Harry "still holds a lot of disregards" for his stepmother.
