King Charles allegedly extended another olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by inviting the couple to celebrate Christmas with the royal family in Sandringham. But according to unnamed sources, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex declined the monarch’s invitation yet again.

Prince Harry’s Relationship With The Royal Family Hit Rock Bottom Because Of His Memoir?

According to Radar Online, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t be celebrating Christmas with the royal family this year. After all, their relationship with the royal family allegedly hit rock bottom, especially with the upcoming release of the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare.

An unnamed source for the publication claimed that the title of Prince Harry’s memoir completely caught the royal family by surprise. And even though details regarding the memoir have been scarce, there are reports claiming that Prince Harry will be targeting certain family members in his memoir.

“This book could spell the end for any relationship Harry wants to have with his family. It’s desperately sad. Everyone is bracing themselves for yet another fraught and frantic period at the mercy of the Sussexes,” the source said.

According to Mirror UK, Prince Harry has not had that much contact with the royal family since he returned to the United States after Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. But he might have spoken to King Charles regarding his children’s future royal titles.

Meanwhile, Life & Style also alleged that King Charles really wanted Prince Harry and Markle to be with the royal family for the holidays. After all, this will be their first Christmas without Queen Elizabeth.

“Charles knows there's going to be an air of emptiness this Christmas without the queen there. Charles is yearning to bring the family together during what was his late mother's favorite time of year, so he's extending an olive branch to the Sussexes by inviting them to spend Christmas at Sandringham,” a source claimed.

King Charles Wants To Spend Holidays With Archie And Lilibet?

King Charles also, allegedly, wants to make the most out of the holidays by spending more time with Archie and Lilibet.

“He plans to deck out Sandringham in the most exquisite décor and Christmas trees. The menu will be the same to honor the queen - turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Yule log cake, and Christmas pudding. The way the family dines will be different. Instead of the kids eating separately, everyone will eat together," the source said.

Throughout the years, the royal family is known for celebrating Christmas in Sandringham because of the queen. This year, it’s unclear if their celebrations will still take place in the same venue.
