According to Mirror UK, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will score an invite to King Charles’ coronation, and they will be part of the 200-strong congregation that will also be in attendance. However, unlike other key senior royals, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wouldn’t be given an important role at the event.
A source also said that Prince Harry and Markle have several options on how to go about King Charles’ coronation. They could either go together, or Prince Harry could attend sans Markle because King Charles’ coronation day also falls on Archie’s birthday.

Prince Harry Will Only Attend King Charles’ Coronation If There Are Guarantees Things Wouldn’t Be Awkward?
But before anything else, the Duke of Sussex still needs a little more convincing on whether or not to attend. A source said that he wants something to change because he doesn’t want to have another awkward encounter with the royal family.
“Harry has been very clear and his position hasn’t wavered – he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral. He’s said he wants to reconcile with his family and it’s their call, but so far nothing has changed,” the source said.

Another source said earlier this week that the royal family is fully expecting Prince Harry and Markle to be at King Charles’ coronation. But they will make sure not to mention Spare or Harry & Meghan. So, royal fans can expect that the only thing that the royal family will talk to Prince Harry and Markle about is the weather.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield said that the royal family also wants to make sure that the Sussexes wouldn’t steal the spotlight from King Charles if they attend.
“A source close to the royal family says that Harry and Meghan should be prepared to talk to senior royals about nothing but the weather, which we can all understand. Those two can’t keep their mouths shut. Loose lips sink ships. This was going to be a PR nightmare if King Charles did not invite Harry and Meghan to the Coronation,” she told GB News.
