Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were happy to join Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. They even bought their kids during the trip. They maintained a low-key profile while in Britain and left quietly even before the finale.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Jubilee Presence Shows They Are No Longer Important

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were almost not visible during the four-day Platinum Jubilee celebration. They only attended two events and even left hours before the finale.

Sharon Osbourne weighed in on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's jubilee attendance. For her, the speed at which they stayed in the country suggested that they would limit their presence in the U.K. in the future.

"They are of no importance," Osbourne said on Sky News Australia, per Express. "They lost their importance, they don't mean anything, the country wasn't that overjoyed. "I didn't hear many people go, ‘This is amazing.’ I must say the country didn't react one way or the other."

The Sussexes probably felt that lack of warmth from the Brits, so they might not return to the U.K. anytime soon or would only limit their visit to the country, according to Osbourne.

"But the way they kind of came in and went, was a huge signal that I don't think we'll see them here much again," the British TV personality added.

Prince Harry Unhappy At The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex only attended two events during the four-day festivities celebrating the Queen's 70 years on the throne. They watched Trooping the Colour without making any balcony appearance.

The Queen decided to limit the royal line-up of those who could join her on the balcony to the working royals only. Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020, they only watched the flypast at the Major General's Office.

Prince Harry and Markle stepped out Friday for their first public outing in the U.K. since they left their royal duties to attend the National Thanksgiving Service in honor of the Queen. However, they were met by a mix of cheers and boos.

According to royal expert Neil Sean, the events at Platinum Jubilee must have sunk into Prince Harry because the Duke of Sussex looked "deeply unhappy up close," Express reported.

After receiving boos at St. Paul Cathedral, the couple snubbed an invitation to a reception at Guildhall and didn't attend any other Platinum Jubilee events after.
