Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children Archie and baby Lili have no royal titles. Neither of them is a prince or a princess, and according to a report, they might never be a prince or princess because their grandfather, Prince Charles, is unlikely to make them one.

Prince Harry And Meghan's Kids Unlikely To Receive Royal Titles

The members of the royal family seem to be at odds. Things got worse after Prince Harry, and Meghan Markel stepped down from their royal duties and relocated to the United States.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child in June, baby Lili. However, no member of the royal family has met her because she's in Los Angeles.

Royal biographer Christopher Andersen weighed in on Prince Harry and Markle's relationship with the royal family. According to him, Prince Harry hasn't spoken to his father, Prince Charles, and brother, Prince William. He also shared his thoughts about Archie and baby Lili's future.

"William isn’t returning Harry’s calls and Charles and Harry haven’t spoken since Prince Philip’s funeral. If Charles, William, and Harry can’t find a way to make amends during the queen’s platinum jubilee next year, then it’s doubtful they ever will," he told the Daily Beast.

"It’s also highly doubtful that a Charles III will bestow the titles of 'prince' on Archie and 'princess' on Lilibet, or for that matter, any titles at all."

Meghan Markle Complained That Son With Prince Harry Wasn't Made A Prince

Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey. In the tell-all, the Duchess of Sussex suggested that he wanted Archie to be made a prince — just like his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — because he has no royal title. Markle wanted the title for her son's security and protection.

"All the grandeur around this stuff is not really important to me," she added.

Royal expert Craig Prescott addressed the same issue saying that Markle was wrong with her claim. One's royal title is not related to having security.

"One [concern is] that is that if Archie had a title, he would get security, but that isn’t quite true," he told Us Weekly.

"Archie isn’t entitled to be called prince from when he was born. He is too far removed from the line of succession," he added.

Prescott stressed that not all princes and princesses receive a royal title. He cited Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who have royal titles but don't receive protection. According to the expert, only those who work for the Firm receive protection. So, even if Archie was made a prince, he wouldn't receive royal protection.
