Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined the royal family last month for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. However, their visit to the U.K. reportedly made Prince William's younger brother realize one thing — the royals are doing fine without them.
Prince Harry Reportedly Realized He And His Wife Need The Royals More
The Duke of Sussex's memoir is coming later this year, but there are rumors that it has been put on hold for fear of upsetting the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled to the U.K. last month to celebrate the Queen's 70 years on the throne with their two children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1. However, they received a cold shoulder and the incident made Prince Harry sad.
"I think the Jubilee showed that he was quite shocked about how he’s so far away from the Royal Family now, and that they are managing very well, and that William and Katherine are getting on very well with Charles and Camilla, which wasn’t always the case," royal biographer Angela Levin said on GB News (via Geo News).
Levin, the author of Harry: A Biography of a Prince, speculated that Markle's husband is afraid his book will upset the members of the firm, especially since his and his wife's popularity has continued to drop.
"I’m not quite sure whether he’s had second thoughts, because not just here in the United Kingdom - which doesn’t matter to him anymore - but in the United States, they're losing their popularity incredibly quickly, and they need the royal titles," Levin continued.
"So if he’s going to do another attack on the Royal Family and reveal things that are really unpleasant - which might not necessarily be true - he can’t then expect any sort of warmth from them."
Prince Harry Will Still Drop Memoir Later This Year, Royals Warned About Content
Despite rumors that Prince Harry's memoir will be delayed, an anonymous source spoke with Page Six and revealed that the anticipated book would be out in the fall of this year. The tipster also warned the royal family that it will contain details that would make them "nervous."
"There's a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood … there is some content in there that should make his family nervous," the source told Page Six.
However, royal expert Duncan Larcombe had a different take. For him, the palace decided to keep the results of the bullying report private to keep their peace with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The royal expert believed that the members of the firm were scared of Prince Harry and Markle, who could share intimate details about their family in interviews and books.
"I think the reason they are not publishing any of this is that the Palace is running scared of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex," he said on True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat.
"I think they know that if they publish the report, the next thing that will happen potentially is for Harry and Meghan to play the victim and go on Oprah. This is an olive branch or an avoidance of war."
