Prince Harry shared how his two kids with his wife Meghan Markle — Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1 — reminded him of his and Prince William's dynamic when they were children.

Prince Harry Says Archie And Lilibet Were Like Him And Prince William

The Duke of Sussex has been candid about the sibling rivalry between him and Prince William. In his interview with ITV's Tom Bradby, he compared how his two kids were similar to him and his brother Prince William.

"The gap between me and William was very similar to Archie and Lili," Prince Harry said, Us Weekly reported.

"And to see Lili obsessed with Archie and Archie like, ‘No, no, Lili, I need my space. I need my space now.’ I get it. … I get how irritating the younger sibling can be to the older sibling."

Prince Harry admitted in his interview that he loved his big brother, Prince William. However, they grew apart after their mom, Princess Diana passed away.

"Two individuals who experienced a very similar traumatic experience, but dealt with it in two very different ways."

Prince Harry Talks About Sibling Rivalry With Prince William

The Duke of Sussex spoke about his relationship with Prince William in his book Spare. According to him, there was a competition between them and the heir to the throne could veto what he wanted.

"Africa was his thing, he said," Prince Harry claimed in his memoir, Entertainment Tonight reported. "And he had the right to say this, or felt he did, because he was the Heir."

He added that the future king would even flex his veto power over him.

"It was ever in his power to veto my thing, and he had every intention of exercising, even flexing, that veto power. We had some real rows about it... It was so obvious. He cared less about finding his purpose or passion than about winning his lifelong competition with me."

He also told Anderson Cooper in their 60 Minute interview that the future king told him when they attended Eton to pretend that they didn't know each other. He admitted that it hurt him at the time.

"I couldn't make sense of it," Harry told Cooper. "I was like, 'What do you mean? We're now at the same school. Like, I haven't seen you for ages, now we get to hang out together.' He's like, 'No, no, no, when we're at school we don't know each other.' And I took that personally."
