Prince Harry will attend King Charles' coronation sans his wife Meghan Markle and kids. Royal experts said he didn't get the demands he wanted from his family.
Prince Harry Gave In To His Family?
The Duke of Sussex had said a lot of things against his family. He claimed that they owed him and his wife an apology and, after that, would consider attending his father's coronation.
Last week, Buckingham Palace confirmed that he would attend the coronation. However, several royal experts said he didn't get the apology he demanded from them.
Royal commentator and correspondent Kinsey Schofield spoke with Fox News Digital about Prince Harry's demands. According to her, there was no apology.
She said:
"And despite Harry telling media outlets that he would only attend the coronation if his family received an apology... my sources say that no such apology has happened in private."
Daily Mail Diary editor and broadcaster Richard Eden was also asked by host Jo Elvin on last week's episode of Palace Confidential whether Prince Harry got his demands.
"No," Eden replied. "From everything I heard, that he hasn't, and I think this is you know, him sort of giving in."
Eden recounted Prince Harry's words saying he wanted an apology before considering attending the coronation. However, they didn't receive it, so the royal commentator speculated it was the reason Markle was staying back in California with their children — Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.
Eden said:
"You might remember there's a string of comments, you know, we have all these TV interviews he was giving, he was saying about how they needed to sit down and discuss things before they would even consider whether they would come. They wanted apologies [and] this type of thing. And from everything I've heard, you know that simply hasn't happened. And let's be clear, I think that's why Meghan isn't coming because they haven't got what they wanted."
How Did Prince Harry Demand an Apology?
Prince Harry previously said in an interview with The Telegraph that his original draft for Spare was 800 pages. However, he removed half of it because there were things he didn't want to publish.
The Duke of Sussex said there was stuff he believed his father and brother would not forgive if he included them in his book. In the interview, Prince Harry said he was willing to forgive, but they had to apologize to his wife.

Prince Harry said:
"But the way I see it is, I'm willing to forgive you for everything you've done, and I wish you'd actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying. 'I'm delusional and paranoid,' actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I'd really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife."
