Prince Harry couldn't help but feel guilty following his decision not to spend the summer in Balmoral with Queen Elizabeth. Previous reports revealed that Her Majesty invited him and Meghan Markle to spend a few days in her summer home, but they politely declined her invitation because of their prior engagement.
Prince Harry Feels Remorseful For Declining Queen Elizabeth's Invitation To Visit Her In Balmoral
Now, Radar Online is claiming that Prince Harry feels remorseful. If only he knew that Queen Elizabeth didn't have long to live, he would've accepted her invitation and spent some time with his grandmother.
"Harry is wracked by guilt. No one had any idea just how sick the Queen was in her final days, and Harry is devastated that he did not take her up on this invite. If he did know she was not going to live, of course, he would have made a different decision," a source said.

Meghan Markle Should Loosen Her Grip On Prince Harry Following Queen Elizabeth's Snub
The source added that the Duke of Sussex was aware that his grandmother wanted to see him so bad, but he and Markle made the decision to decline the invitation because they didn't want to see the other members of the royal family.
"The opportunity to see the Queen is a prospect that has left him distraught. Maybe, just maybe, this lesson learned might loosen Meghan's grip on Harry," the source said.

Queen Elizabeth, King Charles III Have Been Very Welcoming Toward Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Royal author Katie Nicholl was the first person to reveal that the Queen and King Charles invited Prince Harry and Markle to stay with them while they were in the United Kingdom. But the couple refused both invitations.
"The Queen always has this wonderful, extended stay for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. They were also invited to go to Birkhall with the Prince of Wales and thus far they haven't done it," Nicholl said.
Royal insiders also previously claimed that King Charles III has been trying to bring his youngest son back into the royal fold even before the Queen's death. And even though the Sussexes declined his invitation, he wants them to know that they are always welcome in his home.
"He hasn't wavered, despite the attacks, which seem to be coming with increased vigor. The Prince of Wales reiterated his invitation for Harry and Meghan, and the whole family if they wished, to come and stay with him this summer while he is at his home on the Balmoral estate. He thought it might be a good opportunity for everyone to take stock and relax, but the invitation was declined," a source said (via Marie Claire).
Even though Prince Harry and Markle weren't able to spend time with the Queen before her passing, Her Majesty still had a wonderful time with her other relatives.
During her final days, she received visits from King Charles III, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and more.
