Prince Harry is in a tight position between the release of his memoir and his dad King Charles' coronation. Penguin Random House, which agreed to delay the release of his book, reportedly wanted it out before the new monarch's coronation.

Prince Harry Could Steal King Charles' Thunder On His Coronation Day?

Royal expert Douglas Murray appeared on Sky News Australia and he spoke about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Netflix docuseries and the Duke of Sussex's upcoming memoir.

He said both wanted the two projects out before the coronation, which would put Prince Harry, Markle and the royals, especially King Charles, in the spotlight. However, both projects are expected to include explosive content against the royals, and the people might talk more about it than the king's big day.

"Netflix and Prince Harry's publishers will want to get the book and the series out ahead of the coronation, and that will cause all sorts of problems," Murray said, Express reported. "Instead of the coronation being a happy event, it will be laden down with the latest claims and moans of the Sussexes."

Murray added that putting off both projects after the coronation won't make things much better.

"It's like they've announced a couple of time bombs they've set to go off under the Royal Family," he continued. "I just wish that this couple could put anyone ahead of themselves, but it seems they can't, not even their nearest and dearest."

According to Katie Nicholl, Prince Harry received a $35 million advance for his upcoming memoir. The royal expert believed he had to talk about personal stuff to be paid that much.

"When you're having that sort of an advance, that's not going to be for Harry talking about his philanthropic work," Nicholl said, per Express. "There are big issues that need to be sorted out, not least that Harry and Meghan keep breaching the trust of the Royal Family."

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Allegedly Stalling Projects To Edit Content

Several sources claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to delay their docuseries on Netflix and his memoir, so they could edit and make the content softer toward the royal family.

However, several sources doubt that the streaming giant and publishers will allow the royal couple to make changes to please the royal family.

"I can't see Netflix going along with that one. They have already shelled out millions, and they want their pound of flesh," GB News TV presenter Nana Akua said on her show.

British journalist and investigative reporter Tom Bower shared the same sentiment toward Prince Harry's book.

"I think that everybody knows that the Sussexes can't amend the book in any way," Bower told Page Six. "Can they make it nastier? Because otherwise, we wouldn't get sales."

King Charles reportedly wanted Prince Harry to be present at his coronation. However, their invitations allegedly depend on his memoir and how damaging it would be.

"He would want his youngest son there and the family, Meghan included. It would be seen as a snub if they weren't," royal correspondent and commentator Neil Sean claimed. "But it all depends on this book and how damaging that book remains to King Charles. Six months down the line, if the book is still reverberating with damage, he could have a rethink."
