Prince Andrew was mean to the staff who worked for him. Former royal protection officer Paul Page recalled an encounter with the Duke of York when the latter yelled at him after he mistakenly thought of him as an intruder.

Prince Andrew Was Allegedly Nasty To Royal Staff

Page spoke with The Sun and shared an alleged incident in the early 2000s. According to him, while they were checking the CCTV in the control room, they saw a man walking along the corridor in the Queen's private quarters. It alarmed them because Her Majesty was not at Buckingham Palace at the time. They considered it a major potential security scare. So, Page and two other police officers immediately went to the Queen's apartments to investigate.

"We approached from either end of the corridor so we could surround the potential intruder. But when we got there, we realized it was Prince Andrew," he recalled. "He looked scruffy and was wearing a tracksuit. I apologized and said, 'I'm sorry, your Highness, we went to investigate a possible intruder in Her Majesty's apartments."

According to Page, the Duke of York replied, saying, "This is my house, I go where I want, now f--k off."

Prince Andrew's residence is the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, which he shares with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. However, he reportedly has his own rooms at Buckingham Palace, where he frequently stays when he is in London.

Page said the incident showed Prince Andrew's typical behavior. The former officer described Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's father as a "f--king a--hole and a bully."

"I never had any problems with any other members of the Royal Family in my time at Buckingham Palace. The Queen is a lovely lady," Page added. "But Prince Andrew had this nasty side to him, he treated staff terribly. He got away with it for so long."I never had any problems with any other members of the Royal Family in my time at Buckingham Palace. The Queen is a lovely lady," Page added. Prince Andrew Scream At Staff Over Teddy Bear Collection

Page also appeared on ITV's documentary Ghislaine, Prince Andrew, and the Paedophile earlier this month. He claimed that the Duke of York would have a tantrum and "should and scream" when his teddy bear collection was not arranged accordingly.

Charlotte Briggs also spoke with the same outlet about the Duke of York's stuffed animals. She used to work for Prince Andrew in the 1990s to arrange his collection every day.

"As soon as I got the job, I was told about the teddies and it was drilled into me how he wanted them," she told The Sun. "I even had a day's training. Everything had to be just right. It was so peculiar."

According to him, it took an hour each day to arrange them. In the morning, she would arrange the teddy bears according to their sizes—the biggest stuffed toys at the and the smallest at the front. Then, at night, the bears had designated positions around the room. The royal's two favorite teddy bears were placed on mahogany thrones at his bedside, and some were stacked in an unused fireplace.

"It was so odd," Briggs continued. "After all, he was a grown man who had served in the Falklands. But he absolutely loved the teddies and was very clear about how he wanted them arranged."

She continued, "It took me half an hour to arrange them," before adding that it was the "most bizarre thing to be paid for."
