Pokemon Announces 3-Month Anime Marathon

Pokemon Day 2019 is upon us and The Pokemon Company have announced some huge news for anime fans; there will be a 3-month long stream from February 27 to May 5 that will show non-stop episodes of the Pokemon anime. If you have some time, make some popcorn, go to the official Pokemon Twitch channel and prepare yourself for some anime goodness.

According to Pokemon International, fans will be able to view episodes of Pokemon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, Pokemon the Series: Black and White, and Pokemon the Series: X and Y. In addition to those, select Pokemon movies will be streamed as well, which should be a treat for hardcore fans since these are usually well animated.

Those that started with Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon may want to check this out if they want to see more of Ash's adventures. While fans have grown towards the Sun and Moon animation style, there are still those that view X and Y as the best animation the series has had so far. It also helps that Ash had a Greninja at the time, which became the favorite of many after X and Y came out.

Fans are probably aware that this isn't the first time The Pokemon Company planned a long-form stream like this. Sometime last year, there was a stream that showed the early Pokemon anime that started with the original series and ended with Ruby and Sapphire. This is a great continuation for those that tuned into that.
