The end is near for Jesse Custer and AMC has just revealed the first teaser trailer for Preacher Season 4. In addition to that, the first poster for the final season suggests that Jesse, Tulip O'Hare, and Cassidy will burn in hell.
There's not much to see in the Preacher Season 4 teaser, which looks back at key moments involving Jesse, Tulip, Cassidy, and The Saint of Killers. However, it does confirm that the final season will premiere on August 4.
The poster for the fourth season certainly paints a terrifying picture as it depicts the main trio with their eyes on fire. The image confirms that Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy might need to deal with Hitler, the new ruler of Hell. But could it also mean the end for all three of them?
The synopsis for Season 4 reads as follows:
"As the series inches closer to the finale, God's endgame for the universe begins to click into place. Trapped between heavenly prophecies, hellish prisons, and all-out nuclear war, Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy make their bloody way to the Most High. Whether they can reach God in time — or whether all this carnage is part of His divine plan — will soon be revealed as Preacher barrels towards the end of the world."
The final season will bring back Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joe Gilgun, and Graham McTavish. Noah Taylor is expected to reprise his role as Hitler while we could get another glimpse at Pip Torrens as Herr Starr.
Preacher Season 4 will air on AMC on August 4.
